About the Founder

Three decades of medicine. At the edge.

Steven Nathanson, MD · Twice Board-Certified

Thirty-three years in uniform — as a Special Forces medical sergeant, an Air Force flight surgeon, a critical care air transport chief, and a diving medical technician. Today, a civilian physician with formal training across emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, functional medicine, and advanced metabolic endocrinology — and the inventor of a patent-pending continuous hormone delivery platform.

Military Service · 33 Years

Medicine where the stakes are highest.

Across three decades of uniformed service, Dr. Nathanson held some of the most demanding medical roles in the United States Armed Forces — practicing trauma, critical care, and undersea medicine in environments where the margin for error is zero.

Army · Special Operations

Special Forces Medical Sergeant

Embedded combat medic trained to deliver advanced trauma care, surgical intervention, and longitudinal medical management in austere, remote, and tactically denied environments.

Air Force · Aerospace Medicine

Flight Surgeon, Chief

Chief flight surgeon responsible for the medical readiness of aircrews, aerospace physiology, and the operational health of military aviation personnel.

Air Force · CCATT

Critical Care Air Transport Team, Chief

Led the highest-acuity airborne ICU teams responsible for the in-flight transport of critically wounded service members between theaters of care — effectively flying intensive care units.

Undersea & Hyperbaric

Diving Medical Technician

Specialized in undersea and hyperbaric medicine — dive injury management, decompression illness, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in operational and clinical settings.

Civilian Practice

A physician with unusually broad formal training.

Most physicians specialize narrowly. Dr. Nathanson's training spans the acute, the chronic, the pediatric, and the systems-based — a foundation that informs how he thinks about the body as an interconnected whole.

Medical Doctor · Twice Board-Certified

Board certification in two medical specialties.

Emergency Medicine

Trauma instructor for the American College of Surgeons.

Internal Medicine

Formal training in the diagnosis and management of adult disease.

Pediatrics

Formal training in pediatric medicine.

Functional Medicine

Root-cause and systems-based approach to chronic disease.

Advanced Metabolic Endocrinology

Specialized training in hormone systems, metabolism, and longevity medicine.

The body is an interconnected system, and the most powerful interventions are the ones that respect how it was designed to work. Continuous, physiologic delivery isn't a marketing idea — it's how the body itself runs.

Off the Clock

Husband. Father. Grandfather. Practitioner.

Outside the clinic and the lab, Dr. Nathanson is a family man and a lifelong student of discipline — a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a traveler, and the patriarch of a multi-generational family that grounds the work.

A note on the man behind the platform: the breadth of Dr. Nathanson's training — from austere combat medicine to the science of hormones and longevity — is matched by the breadth of the life he has built outside of it. The work is steady because the life is steady.
